2018 Taichung Low Carbon Sustainable City Food Forest Farming Project’s concept is food fores,Use commiunty building to eccourage urban agriculture, To increase city’s green area, shorten food delivery mileage, decrease roof temperature, decrease urban heat island effect, implement low carbon city. This project is about propaganda city energy saving and carbon reduction, build low carbon life and teach urban farming skil,and build city food forest exhibition base. According to the contract. We had done these subject. 1. Collect Taichung city’s farming project and investigation of the 101 place. 2. Conduct the farming school course, has completed 117 hours. 3. Held an opening/closing ceremony. 4. Completed the city food forest all 7 education demonstration field’s maintenance and promotion. 5. Completed 5 promotion seminar, and got 333 participant. 6. Completed 42 events of The city food forest action exhibition. 7. Consulted 36 community and used 120 times of volunteer budget. 8. Completed The city food forest audition and built 6 urban agriculture demonstration point, and introduction 4 community to other bureau’s project. 9. Organized 1 propaganda and sharing event, and got 99 participant. 10. Filmed a video to popularize this project, and got 10000 viewer on Facebook and Youtube. 11. Maintained low carbon life website, at the same time used Facebook created a social media called “Taichung city food forest promotion project”, and held 4 online event, Reached 12,544 person and increased the fan page’s like to 1,052.
